AI Agents
Last updated: June 2026
Anthyx uses a pipeline of specialised AI agents to create, review, and optimise your marketing content. Each agent has a specific role, and they work in sequence — the output of one becomes the input to the next. This guide explains what each agent does, how to configure them, and how guardrails keep them on-brand.
The agent pipeline
When you generate a campaign or a post, the following agents run in sequence:
- Strategist agent — reads your campaign brief and brand context, then produces a content strategy: themes, formats, and a posting cadence recommendation.
- Writer agent — takes the strategy and writes the actual post copy, adapted for each target platform and brand voice.
- Image prompt agent — generates image generation prompts based on the post copy and brand visual style (colour palette, photography style from brand ingestion).
- SEO agent — on Growth and above, scores long-form content and suggests keyword optimisations before the post enters the review queue.
- Guardrails agent — runs last, checking every post against your configured prohibited topics, tone rules, and blackout windows before it enters the review queue.
Configuring agent behaviour
Most agent configuration happens through brand ingestion — the richer your brand context, the more accurately the Writer and Image prompt agents reflect your style. Beyond brand context, you can configure:
- Tone slider — under Settings → Brands → [Brand] → Tone, set a dial from Formal to Casual. The Writer agent uses this to calibrate vocabulary and sentence structure.
- Platform-specific instructions — add per-platform notes (e.g. “LinkedIn posts should always include a lesson or insight, not just a promotion”) under Settings → Brands → [Brand] → Platform notes.
- Prohibited topics — see the Guardrails guide for full details.
Regenerating individual agents
If you are happy with the strategy but not the copy, you can re-run only the Writer agent without starting over. Open the post in the editor and click Regenerate copy (⌘R). The strategy context is preserved and passed to the Writer agent again, producing a different interpretation of the same brief. Similarly, Regenerate image prompt re-runs only the Image prompt agent while keeping the copy unchanged.
Agent usage limits
Each agent run consumes generation credits. Your plan includes a monthly credit allocation — check current usage under Settings → Plan → AI usage. Individual agent runs (like regenerating copy on a single post) cost 1 credit each. Generating a full campaign counts as one run per post in the campaign.
