Competitive intelligence

Last updated: June 2026

Anthyx's competitive intelligence module tracks your competitors' public social content automatically and surfaces trends, cadence patterns, and high-performing post formats so you can inform your own strategy without manual research.

Adding a competitor

  1. Go to Competitive → Add competitor.
  2. Enter the competitor's name and their public social handles (Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook).
  3. Click Save. Anthyx begins pulling their recent public posts immediately.

You can track up to 5 competitors on Starter, 20 on Growth, and unlimited on Agency and above.

What Anthyx tracks

  • Post frequency and publishing cadence by day-of-week and time
  • Content type breakdown (image, video, carousel, link, text-only)
  • Engagement rate per post and trend over the last 30/90 days
  • Top-performing posts (highest engagement) per platform
  • Hashtag and keyword usage patterns

Insights and alerts

The Insights tab surfaces automatically generated observations, such as: “[Competitor] doubled their LinkedIn video cadence in the last 14 days” or “Their top 3 posts this month all used a question in the first line.”

Turn on email alerts in Competitive → [Competitor] → Alerts to be notified when a competitor publishes a post that performs significantly above their average.

Limitations

  • Anthyx only tracks public content — private accounts and stories are not accessible.
  • Exact view counts are not available on most platforms via public APIs — engagement rate uses likes + comments.
  • TikTok competitive tracking is read-only and subject to TikTok's API rate limits.
